“Boy Fantasy” is the male version of idol audition program “My Teen Girl,” which gave rise to rookie girl group CLASS:y last year.

Should be interesting!! CLASS:y has good songs.

I’m curious to see how this will play out. Personally I love the sound Class:y went for so if the new boy group does the same, thats good. Also good to see Soyeon back as a mentor

I heard that bae173 members were going to be on the show? Which is interesting to me since they are an actively promoting group. I don't think classy had participants like that on their show (members that were in previous groups were in groups that have been dormant for a long long time and were practically disbanded).

Guess will see how that goes. Bae173 also participated on peak time as well, so it seems their company is very desperate methinks...

I'm not entirely sure, but that wouldn't surprise me. The wikia for them has that they've had members on Produce X 101, The Unit, Under Nineteen, and BOYS24. I'm not sure what the company's obsession is with survival shows... even if the members get onto the project group, won't that just mess up with the main group's promo period? Even getting in the group, not every idol turns out like Sakura where people follow her to see where she ends up.

Yeah, there's really no reason to put members into that show then, unless you're aiming to either basically toss in the towel on your current group or you're hoping the show does REALLY well, but without your members getting voted in... in which case, it seems a stretch to think the viewers will go check out their main group. They didn't like them enough as standalone members...

Clearly some people have enough money to run these companies, but not enough common sense to actually do so.
