I'm responding to this kinda sincerely. But I think joining this forum around back then, starting to mend our relationship again, and getting to know you genuinely has only been a good thing. You've witnessed some ups and downs since then I think, but you were there for me when I wanted to come to you and understood me. For that I am grateful and I think this place might have not have been appealing or easy to come back to without good friends like you. Thank you for that.

And it is pronounced like Pixy-diss so a very unintentional but really cool kpop connection. It’s an astronomy term. A little fun fact behind the name: Pyxidis is the brightest star in the constellation Pyxis which is positioned in the southern celestial hemisphere.

I got the pronunciation immediately.

Now, I'm wondering if people in AllArt were aware of this constellation connection before finally deciding on the group name.
Just kidding.

Or they just thought of fairies from children's books and decided with that since the debut song was titled Wings.
I don't know. Unfortunately, there's no information on how the group name came to be.
