I can think ways of four ways of interpreting it

1. emm kay three ay em
2. mic three ay am
3. em kay ee am
4. mic ee am

the last two ways are me choosing to see the 3 as a letter (E).

its like those stage names for artists that use symbols or numbers instead of letters.

I just read it as letters-- MK, like Mortal Kombat the video game and 3 a.m., like 3 in the morning. There is no way to say it as a word.
