Well the way I see it is that if you're telling a female she should do x but you would never tell a man to do the same thing in the exact same circumstance then probably don't say it, so basically just don't be sexist. There is a whole range of words you can string together that aren't sexist so I think you'll be just fine, unless you're the type of person who gets offended when people don't appreciate sexist remarks of something idk.
Plus "you should smile more" is not a compliment at all.

I meant my post to be humorous because of the photo.

Actually, I was initially hesitant to post it, believe it or not, thinking it might go in a deeper direction like this.

I know women dislike or hate being randomly catcalled or told things like this by complete strangers and I never do that.

I didn't realize that it was meant as a joke because sadly there are some men who would react to someone telling them to not say something sexist that would react that way and cry about how oppressed/controlled/whatever they are. I didn't really get that impression from you from other posts but I didn't realize you meant it as a joke. Sorry about that.
