I've mentioned this before but due to me being a gay teen I listened to exclusively girl groups because listening to boy groups was "too gay" oh but wanting to have sex with men isn't "too" gay you delusional idiot so I ended up missing out on SO many boy groups (not all) although I likely have heard of all of them before. Obviously, I got over that phase lol. Feel free to use this thread to convert me into your 2nd/3rd gen bg fandom. I'll post some of my favourite bgs from that era and you can give me more specific recommendations (I'm only including songs that I like that were released in those respective generations so don't recommend me an NCT unit or The Boyz because I already stan them and for the love of god I've listened to Big Bang & BTS before so don't suggest them lmao)

I really like the Astro sub-unit Moonbin & Sanha. Their first EP was the strongest IMO.

I was like "HMMM..what do I have outside of EXO, Shinee and NCT." I love a challenge!

GOT7 are a little hit and miss for me but when they have something great, it's really good, and they have strong vocalists.

For the last one the song seems cut up because it is, to make the mv longer. Some parts are taken from a bside, they have other mvs like that too that are longer too
