Today I learned ticks a) don’t mind the cold and b) can get really really big (1 Viewer)

I’ve only ever seen smaller sized ticks and never seen anyone bitten outside warmer months but apparently they can get pretty large and are fine with the cold. Ig it’s good I decided to pet my dog while she was lying on her side.

Burn them all to ground.
Is she okay? On preventive? No bites?

Ticks are the worst, my dog has gotten Lyme disease once, me twice, and both my parents once. Ironic seeing as I go outside the least of my siblings most likely. She got bitten but seems fine, she does have the vaccine of course, and we put a tick repellent on her now. Obviously we’ll monitor her for any tick borne diseases now too.
