I always wanted to try pineberries, but they usually won't have them again after they had them in stock.

I've left you in the dark long enough, they're pineberries not normal strawberries Pineberries are a hybrid of 2 species of strawberries and were discovered about 2 decades ago. They're called pineberries because many think they taste kind of pineapple like. They're not all that profitable supposedly which might be why they're so unknown, but they can be found in some stores.

The pineapple taste isn't super strong imo, it's more strawberry taste predominantly. But I do think there is a taste of pineapple there, just not as strong. It's an interesting fruit to try but given the typical price of typical strawberries vs these and their flavors I would definitely choose the normal ones
