I checked out a website that tells you if and how you can spell whatever words with the periodic table of elements. It was going all fine and dandy until it reached an a, where it was like oh ofc I’ll use the element on the table everyone knows, alpha particles I’ll give all my points to the first person to find alpha particles listed on this table as an element

I dunno, I could see someone saying they should be placed near helium or something but it would have to be separate and at that point why even add it.

I still want to pass it because I love Chemistry, the numbers and required memory do not love me though... Same thing as math, lots of failure under my belt but I still want to learn more. Some people like BSDM, I'm in to math and chemistry...

Alpha particles and beta particles usually form because of radioactive decay. Alpha and beta particles have different make ups (in a neutrons, electrons, protons, positions sense) and properties. So basically stuff that comes from radioactive stuff generally

The goal of all alpha particles from my understanding is to decay in to a noble gas, at which point they become normal and stable noble gas particles. Don't quote me on that though.

I don’t think alpha or beta particles are found on any periodic table tbh, since they aren’t exactly elements. I don’t even know if we learned much about radioactive decay in chemistry, it’s just from reading about it when I was older. There’s also a 3rd common type of decay along with alpha and beta, there’s also gamma.
