I was eating lunch with my friends like I always do and we were watching Blackpink together. This boy came up to us and asked if he could join us since he was also a BLINK and we all happily said yes. We had a good time for about 5 minutes until this girl came over. She said "What are you guys watching? Don't watch stupid, ugly Chinese people, you're being disrespectful to your own race. And what are you doing here? (she pointed at the boy) Why are you watching these stupid Chinese girls? I bet you're a big pervert." I told the girl to leave and she did but I saw how sad the boy looked. This has happened many times before as well. The funny thing is, I could be watching NCT for example and people would still call them ugly and weird but they wouldn't make fun of me watching them even though I'm a girl and they don't call me a pervert but they always say things like that when a boy is watching a girl group. I truly believe that it doesn't matter what gender you are and you can like whatever groups you want. I just can't believe there are people like that girl in this world.

That girls stupidity isn't ever going to make sense. That's why it's called stupidity. As nice as the rearrangement of noses sounds in situations like that your best bet is to smile, nod, and ignore. Also, don't let that guy feel shame for being a Blink. As a girl, accepting and encouraging him to love what he loves can make a huge difference. I'm old, male, I primarily like girl groups, and I'd die for K-Pop but I have old fart wisdom. He does not. Just be thankful your you and not her! Thanks for being you!

I'm sorry you and the others had to experience that. During high school I experienced something similar with two classmates who kept making fun of me by saying racist and homophobic comments about the idols I loved. Sadly there isn't much to do than telling them to leave you alone or ignore them.
