Give me an excuse to skip class (1 Viewer)

I don't want to go to my 4PM class today but I can't think of a single excuse. The thing is, although they take the roll for this class it's not really a compulsory class and the only reason I actually need an excuse is because we were placed in groups. So I need to message my group members and tell them why I'm not attending class. I would go but I find this class so useless and unessacary. You just go and the teacher explains everything we already know (if we did the online work) and then we just have group discussions. I could seriously just study in my own time and I would get more out of those two hours than attend that class.

So help me come up with an excuse. I used the "I'm sick" excuse about 2 weeks ago and now I don't know what to use this week.

Say you have a family issue which means you can't come in. They never ask questions about that and it could be an on-going issue you can use next week.

I'm a bit worried about using that excuse because a few weeks ago one of the members of our group gave that excuse and another nosy girl in our group literally interrogated her until she said it. Some people are so uselessly nosy. And it literally just started off with a "how are you feeling today"... :/

Both my grandmother's passed away and I don't feel comfortable using that one lol. Next week is our uni break so I guess I could say we're going away and we need to leave today or something... But I'm also at school right now so what if someone sees me?
And we have no children in the family. If I lie, I don't want it to be too off. What if someone asks me about it in the future and I give myself away? Lol I'm too paranoid. 🤣

Why didn't I make my dentist appointment for the weekend? We also have the next week off so I could have made it for them as well.
WHAT DOES EVERYONE HAVE AGAINST GRANDMAS?
I don't think the fish excuse would work but I could say my pet is really sick and I'm worried for his health. I'll think of it as my cat that ran away so I don't jinx one of my current babies. Whenever I lie, it always ends up happening. 😢

Yeh, I think I might go with that. I could say my specialist is going away and today was the only day I could fit in an appointment. Thanks.
