But have you had it happen to you? Any stretching the truth goes, the most common is likely when the box is padded with stuff to make it seem like the product will be bigger or when the small clear part has product but the rest is filled with plastic or whatnot.

I’ve had the first happen to me. It was a box of ointment and inside it had a tube smaller than you’d expect and a paper/card stock box to pad the rest of the box. Good times

There’s one brand here that’s really bad with that, they put less than 10 chips in a bag sometimes, at least in the past iirc

me with chips all the time but at least the nitrogen has a purpose unlike people who stuff plastic into their products to make it look bigger
