The trailer looks like a lot of fun, and there's a solid cast of actors. If it's good, I'll pick up the book too because my TBR isn't quite toppling over yet.

oh I forgot to message you! But I went to see it the other day

I also thought its really fun!

They made a lot of references to classic D&D stuff too! I think especially all the people that played the old PC rpgs from bioware and so on will really appreciate it!

I loved that they included red mages so prominently, they always serve as great vilians and have such good style!
I was only wondering why the bard seemed to have no abilities at all, he felt incredbily useless compared to the other classes poor bards!

I thought he was done really well actually! Like look how many times he gives bardic inspiration by talking up the others or when he uses the Song of Rest to revitalize Holga. He just doesn't call any of his bard skills that he's using by the skill names.

nooo I dindn't realize! I'm not so smart

I think I expected him to cast a spell or two too, but he never did! I guess they wanted to have a clear seperation between the characters
