Oh I remember an employee of my mom thought every time you passed a grave yard, you had to hold your breath.

im not sure why. Guess it might be some superstition to do with ghosts but I never heard of it and you know… at least 99.99% of ppl are probably not haunted from passing by a graveyard 🤨

It’s really sad how beliefs like that can make animals endangered/extinct. And despite how heavily trafficked they are most people haven’t heard of them, or if they’ve heard of them it’s exclusively because of COVID.

A grandmother convinced her grandson to bring some back from Cambodia and he nearly did prison time for it and she nearly got deported. Weirdly, they question you on what strange powdery substances are at the air port. He was dumb enough to tell them what it was. They confiscated it and 6 weeks later federal marshals are knocking on their door. I worked with the grandsons father in the oil fields. He had no idea anything had happened until his wife called freaking out because they were arresting his son. Grandma was stupid rich and wrote a check...
