So I Watched The First Episode Of Clannad

So my brother @BritishLuvie has been pestering me to watch Clannad.

I've been resisting.

Because I just know this is a a secret ploy to get me to cry.

But finally I succumbed.

Watched the first episide.

Great start!!!!!

Really cool mix of romance, drama, and humor with a good amount of sort of magical esque mystery.

Love the lead guy. The sort of cocky yet good hearted inside kind of guy I like as a lead.

And his ineffectual sidekick.


But what really sold me.....



Her. Her. Her!!!!

Nagisa Furukawa

Omo..... Omo omo omo.....


She's wonderful.

So cute!!!! So pretty! Soft and gentle!

I was smitten from literally her first scene where she was talking to herself.

When our protagonist boy finally meets the crazy parents and dryly responds to the dad how he maybe shouldn't have gotten involved with such a family....

I stood up in my living room yelling and wagging my finger in scolding fashion:

Yes you will!!!! You're gonna love this girl and love her forever! I know you're a smart ass but this 5 foot nothing girl is gonna smile at you and you're gonna say Yes Miss Furukawa.. Anything you want!


When she asks him to come to some special place near the end of the episode and it's like magical and sparkly....

I was half expecting him to say "I'll follow you anywhere"

He didn't but he should of.

I would have said it.



Anyway..... I'm captured.

So I guess I have to watch now.

I recently watched the first (and only so far) season of an anime called "Hi Score Girl". About a boy and a girl he meets at the Arcades in the 90s. At first they become rivals and then later feelings develop.

Was pleasantly surprised by this one.

And I just can't accept anything other than 97 Berserk lol. Even if it's good.
