ulting one BG/GG but only following groups of the other gender (2 Viewers)

I see i see.... Hmmm idk why ppl do this. I kinda am like that, but still listen to some Ateez, Enhypen and maybe Seventeen.

I think it has to do with our ults being our "romantic fantasy" or "role models" or "standard for partners" whatever u might call it , but not in a delulu way. Like man if i met anyone like Chan i would drop down dead. And i love their electronic music, pumps me up so much.

But then on other days i like cute and happy music from girl groups, cause i also relate to it and imagine myself singing to it. Whereas i can't rap to Changbin's Miroh rap even if i had two mouths.

Or it could be that we see other bgs or ggs similar to our groups as competition? I know some fans are like this. But i know i listen to skz's pairs and they are pretty good too.

I just listened to a lot of gg cause it's the complete opposite and my music taste sometimes switches 180° depending on my mood xD.

I'm not sure I understand your point with the romantic partners, I mean I understand what you mean, but how does it keep you from listenting to other BG if you ult SKZ? Is it like in the sense that they already fulfill this romantic role in a sense, so you don't want any others?

The point with not supporting the competition makes sense, I can imagine that this comes into play for some, as kpop fandoms are sadly designed to be this way and its hard for us as individuals to escape those mechanisms

Oh I think I'm like that there's no rhyme or reason really, I just go where I like the sound. I really dislike a lot of the gg rappers but now there's a rookie bg I stan that has one that's like that >_> it's also usually easier to stan bg's for me bc I don't have to compare myself to them. When stanning gg's, there's part of me that always compares how they look vs. how I look and it triggers me (I have an ed and body dysmorphia). As such, it's just easier not to stan gg's if they just remind me of how much I hate myself ^^

but recently i’ve been contemplating stanning le sserafim because i really like the members and their music and have been interested in them since debut. i also like twice, itzy, nmixx, fifty fifty, aespa, and a few others but i just don’t stan any

i actually don’t know i just really liked all the members and every single one of their songs is a masterpiece. and they still could have been one of my ults if they hadn’t disbanded :(
they’re literally the only girl group who has kept my interest

I do wonder this too. I stan only one gg (and one soloist ig) but don’t ult them, in fact they’re either 2nd to last or tied to last, so in my case it’s a case of they’re the best gg imo. While ulting is another level.

I can’t speak on the reverse but gg is easier to casually enjoy while bg is more fandom driven so that’s why I felt some would ult bg and stan gg.
