Seven-member idol group MustB was involved in a car accident.

On April 21 at 3:40 a.m. KST on Seoul’s Olympic-daero (eight-lane highway in Seoul), midway between bridges Seoulgyo and Yeouigyo in the direction of Jamsil, MustB’s van hit a guard rail next to the road.

The group’s manager Son (aged 36), who was driving during the accident, was seriously injured and transferred to Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital. Unfortunately, Son passed away.

MustB was on their way back to their dorm in Seoul after performing in Daegu when the accident occurred. Four members of the group and one other employee from their agency were riding in the car, and they received treatment at the hospital after sustaining minor injuries. The remaining members of the group had already gotten out of the car before the accident happened.

The police are currently inspecting the car’s black box and questioning the group members to figure out the details of the accident. They are also checking the possibility that the accident occurred due to drowsy driving.

Being tired or drowsy might not seem like a big deal but it can lead to accidents like this :/ It's better for companies to let idols and their managers get some rest and be more alert and productive. This is really saddening, rest in peace.

This is the second car accident involving idol groups n death that I recall (driven by managers who were over-tired/pver-worked, I mean).

I'm saddened even tho Idk MustB or Ladies Code before their accident.

These accidents were preventable. All my thoughts go to the manager's family n friends. When will the companies start thinking of safety for people when scheduling their activities?

2 that I know of is 2 too many, al the least no members of MustB are reportedly badly injured.

I thot this shit would hv stopped when 2 idol members died in 2014 car accident. Will the companies only stop overworking/wrongfully planning activities when another idol group suffers death of its members?

I was sad when I read in 2014 abt Ladies Code car accident n subsequent of EunB n RiSe but this maddens me too.

I--, Idols arent royalty but they do have their own JOB to do. Its so unfortunate what happened to this guy and regulations need to be made for overworking managers, but the solutions not to take an entire feild out of buisness oh my gosh, managers do more than just drive cars and labour,

I'd just like to point out due to confusion from quoting that it's a comment from knetz.

They're (commenter) so dumb, the group seems underage for driving. Wouldn't they (knetz) complain worse if they drove themselves(after old enuf to get license) n got into accidents (maybe killing innocents) due to inexperience. Or they just want idols to give up/(work less?) idk.

Think needs regulation or else 5 years (abt the time after Ladies Code) later might happen again.

Its really sad and it does seem like sleepiness had sth to do with it, they were driving from activity close to morning already right.

Also, I agree with this. ^
The Ladies' Code accident was already bad enough. Things really need to change if companies wants to prevent something like this to happen again.
