This was one of the things I really had to get used to when I moved to Germany, since grocery stores, and any other kind of stores, are closed on sundays
But I appreciate it now, bc you really have the feeling that Sunday is a day, where many people just relax (or use the time to go on trips with their family) and it’s pretty quit on the streets

Yep. I remember a German KS user was shook when I said I was working on Sunday once But I'd imagine it can be fairly inconvenient. When my family went on vacation recently it was hard getting places and whatnot when they arrived because everything was closed.

Some yes and some no. Sundays usually have shorter hours (except the supermarket since the opening and closing hours are the same *except on certain holidays*).
