Oh I see that makes a lot of sense!

Wonyoung in general seems to be very talented with langauges, I think her english is also quite good!

Yes, Sakura, Hitomi and nako. But plenty of groups with no Japanese members are loved In Japan. StayC,

I think the thread might be more of a it’s harder for the members because of the language and culture gap more so than them being less liked. That’s how I read it at least. I could be wrong

No doubt, I think they’d be completely lost without one Hopefully the translator is better than the one that one US president had. That’s my main thought when I hear the word translator

Yes its harder for the rest of the group, but I think its especially sad for Rei, as she now misses on the debut in her home country. I would imagine for all japanese idols its always a great moment to return in glory to their homecountry and be celebrated as famous idols now and represent their group as the main spokes person on an offical comeback. So that was kinda taken away from her now

Also ofc for the japanese fans its easier to connect to the japanese idols in most cases, so its also sad for the fans.

Sometimes groups will do small fanmeetings or concerts in Japan before making an official jp debut or releasing japanese music. Ive has technically released some jp music and promoted it before wave though.





I feel like they definitely did do some Japan fanmeetings before releasing jp music because i do think i remember some tweets about it but I can’t for the life of me sift through so much tweets to find it. Like I said though, not unheard of.
