I was at the store and decided to get floss, since I need some. I hate mint so much, so I was looking for one that was flavorless, which is apparently really hard. I passed many mint flavored ones where the packaging was very obvious about it having mint and got one that had not a peep about mint on the packaging. I bought it and went home, where I picked it up and apparently looked at the actual floss container for the first time, where the first words to pop out to me were cool mint. All that for nothing, I can't use it in the end anyways. I don't know how I missed that at the store

wait how do you deal with toothpaste then? or do you look for non-mint toothpaste as well? im just asking cause i cant without mint in my toothpaste, its what makes me feel fresh after brushing

I used to use a cinnamon one and now I use a fruit one (not for little kids though). Honestly the reason my brushing habits are so bad have to do with the fact that when I had to use mint ones and that made me avoid it too often. It's better now that I have non mint ones though.

oh thats fair! its good that u found something that works for u~ now that i think about it, i've used miswak toothpaste before and i liked it a lot so maybe mint in toothpaste isnt so essential after all

Mint is nice and all when you don't hate the taste. But it is rather annoying that with teeth mint is the default and alternatives are very much the exception and sometimes hard to find other than kids stuff, which isn't the best option for adults anyways. Like its bad with toothpaste but the fact that they're flavoring floss in it more often than not confuses me and annoys me. Like what's wrong with plain floss, who's opposed to that.
