It doesn’t look like the images, I think I should have let the syrup cook a bit longer. But it tasted really good so that’s a win. Others drank like half of it though so I wasn’t quite satisfied when done. But at least I know to make double for next time so I can have my own (I offered to this time but they said it sounded too sweet for them. But they acknowledged that it wasn’t too sweet once they tasted this one. Just sweet)

Well the tapioca pearls here are just dried ones I bought, so it was basically just boiling 2 things for like 5 minutes each, so not hard to make. But definitely delicious

I just found them on Amazon. I got 3 types, blueberry popping boba, cherry popping boba, and the normal pearls that I used here. I haven’t tried either of the popping bobas yet but the standard are super quick to make (if you count the time water takes to boil it’s probably 10 minutes max in total) and nice and chewy I seem to have lucked out because I have heard that some aren’t necessarily as great for various reasons. Either that or I’m just easily pleased.

They also sell bubble tea reusable metal straws which I got and that can make it easier to drink. But that’s definitely the least necessary part of all of it just so you know that’s an option, it seems very specific but ig someone decided it’s worth making.

Spoon does work too it definitely is rather specific use wise too so totally understandable to not want to get one

If you have dried tapioca pearls it’s actually really easy, boil the pearls in water, then boil the pearls in brown sugar and water and pour everything in a cup. The ease is definitely one of the reasons i make it often (that and the taste ofc)

I think the pearls themselves are black sugar flavored, don’t know how strong the flavoring is itself because they’re also cooked in the brown sugar syrup so either way they’d have a sugar flavor
