it's about a middle school studend called Maki, who transfers schools and decided to join the school's soft tennis club. The club never archived good results, so the school wants to cut their funds if they can’t win matches.

When I first started it, I thought it’s gonna be your typical sports anime. BUT this show deals with so much angst and trauma, I was on the edge of my seat during every single episode.
The sad thing is, the anime was supposed to have 24 episodes. But the anime came from a really small studio, so they had to cut the show to 12 episodes due to money issues.
The team behind the anime was looking for a new studio, who would fund a second season but it sadly never happened. But I won’t lose hope
