Our train left 11 minutes late, and we had a transfer to another train and only had 14 minutes total to get to the other train. Ofc my dad and I were nervous about if we had time to make it to the next train, so my dad asked a worker if we could take the next train or something if the connection didn’t work out due to the delay. Ig she didn’t understand English well because she looked at her decide and cheerfully informed us that we don’t need to worry, that our next train would arrive on time to the station. I do get that people that don’t speak English exist. I just found it funny how cheerfully she told us information that we didn’t want to be true
We did luckily make it to the next train, it looks like they wired for our train to come in. I did have to jog which I’m not cleared to do yet but my knee isn’t bothering me so it’s all good.

As a English learner i think u guys mustve spoken fast cause u were in a hurry and she probably didnt understand that xD. Sometimes we are embarrassed to admit we dont understand it, and just say what the most general answer is xD

It was my dad so maybe she didn’t understand his accent? Or she just might not know English super well, which is totally fine obviously. I of course can’t judge because her English is better than my German by far
