I'd still say Twitter. You have to know what to block and what not to engage with but if you're ever mutuals with some smaller accounts they can really be the most welcoming. Especially if you happen to be going to the same concert venue at the same stop

when i was around seoros it was nice just not much ppl there but on the other side, i witnessed the beginning of nwjns & fearnot twitter... most of them became really nasty ppl

Oh I'm back with another one - Discord. Join the groups' discord server and you can usually make friends. It's a bit hard in the beginning to break into people's conversations but as soon as you add people and have some one-on-one convos you find some amazing people!
