Yep! It's the one I gave to nymphology above. One of the ingredients is a 2 inch dinner

2 inch dinner?????

I was typing the ingredient list and typed "2 inch dinner" instead of "2 inch ginger" and showed it to lex

Spicy cumin lamb. It's thin slices of lamb with various spices (such as cumin ofc) and a longhorn pepper, served with noodles. You might be familiar with it or something similar, it's a recipe from the Chinese American fusion cookbook I have But iirc the more Chinese version is usually not served with noodles

Good job 👏

Yummy! 😍 I haven't had it before, nor do I recall the Chinese version, sadly. But it sounds wonderful, thank you 😊

I know China has pretty varied cuisine with location and province, the book I use is mostly stuff from the Shangxi province. So it could very well be less popular or not popular in other parts. Not sure about that stuff, all I’m sure about is that it sounds rather tasty

Yeah, haha. That's certainly true. China is huge, obviously. There's probably loads I know nothing about

Yeah, I would think it would be the same with different parts of Russia too. Almost everyone lives in the European portion but I'd imagine the dishes in the European portion would vary greatly from Siberia or in the far East, especially considering the in the far East they have a border with China and have historically traded things with them which would probably even further influence cuisine. I talked with a girl from the far East once but didn't think to talk about food, I should have asked her about that stuff

Cavapi. A small sausage popular in Balkan countries, usually served in lepinja bread and often with a sauce made of red peppers called ajvar. When we had it in Croatia they also added onions iirc, and to ours we add onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers for produce. Sausages can be from various combinations of ground meats, often including combos of beef, lamb, or maybe veal, but for ours we use a combination of beef and pork.

It’s actually easy to make too tbh A bit time consuming though, my mom and I divide the tasks and rolling out the sausages takes a while tbh
