Basically anything with ingredients that your typical grocery store may not have. There's 2 phases to my planned Mexican food attempts spread over 2 weeks (minimum). This week was go to grocery store as usual, but along with buying stuff for this week I looked into what Mexican foods/ingredients they have other than the obvious stuff like tortillas and salsa. Now that I have that information, next time I can get the stuff I need for the Mexican dishes I want to try (currently I have 2 options that need practically no substitutions, but I'm also like 1/10th of the way into my Mexican cookbook so there may be more). I am excited to try the stuffed peppers, it looks and sounds good
Oh and there's a third dish I could make the main dish (for the accompanying salsa I'd probably need to go to another store for the ingredients) but I while the rest sounds good (well the coca cola sounds weird but I can understand the reasoning) the recipe itself involves 4 cups of lard and that's too much lard imo, so I'm researching different methods for the same dish that wouldn't have that much lard. But it's a work in progress currently.
