Today I almost told someone I would clean an onion rather than peel it. It’s because in Russian clean and peel are the same word. I also saw someone use a site and translate the weather. The site said showers, which in English can mean the ones in the bathroom or some rain, but in Russian it only means the bathroom one so they were confused what the weather site was saying.
