Talking about parents listening to K-pop, mine took me to a Korean restaurant once (a very good one, would recommend Riverside Korean if you're ever in Northern Kentucky) and they were playing K-pop videos on the TV screens. Our waitress caught me singing along to Antifragile (well, the English and trying to mimic the Korean lol), and when I told her I was so into it that I intro'd my parents to it with a favorable outcome (they actually prefer it to some western pop), she was shocked - she'd never heard of old people (as in late sixties, early seventies old) liking K-pop. lol I should've referred her here so she could get to know Yachii and others, but I didn't really think to at the moment.

yeah, I was born in the '80s and they the '50s. It was somewhat common back then iirc to start having kids closer to thirty. In fact, my dad's mom had him when she was forty.
