So i was at a store today and they have this glasses shop and my mom went today to check how much our insurance would cover it and how much she would pay, so ofc we waited and soon got help, they have this ticket thing where you wait until your number is called so ofc its easier and cleaner. So a guy who isnt busy comes and helps my mom when my moms number is also called, so he talks with her and explains everything. About a few minutes later, a lady comes by, ofc i dont pay attention to her and i see her get a ticket and goes to sit down, about a few minutes later, i can tell shes getting impatient, i didnt know what her number was and i believe they were at 10 (i soon learned she got ticket 12), she then stands up like shes waiting for help even tho i think it was 3 including the guy helping my mom were busy with others so i didnt understand why she was impatient when ofc you dont know what someone is getting helped with. She soon sits in a chair that is used for when you get your glasses and the guy helping my mom tells her she will be helped soon, she says okay and sits there. Maybe like 5 minutes later, i can her do an annoyed huff, thats when i knew she was getting frustrated. The guy then asks my mom if she would like to look at some glasses and she agrees. He helps her with frames in case she wants one so he knows the size, the lady sitting down turns to her husband and goes "why is he helping her with her glasses? Makes no sense." I hear this and i get frustrated, as someone who wears glasses, its normal for a worker to help you pick your glasses as they give their own opinions as well and will tell you benefits if you get that pair, its very helpful since they even tell you which ones break easier and which one will cost more. After maybe 2 minutes, she asks the guy helping my mom about why cant he help someone else (hinting at herself) while my mom looks for glasses, he says that he IS currently helping someone and she says "you are?" And he says a long and hard "yes", she thinks whispers to herself "makes no sense". This got me pretty upset since this lady just couldnt wait for her turn like everyone else was, it seemed like she has never gone looking for glasses in a glasses shop before. And ofc some may say if she was busy then yes its understandable but when she did get help, she immediately went shopping in the same store, she was not in a hurry and if she was, she couldve down her shopping and go back to this glasses place to see if theres less people or come back another day if she actually was busy. To me, this woman just seemed entitled and wanted to be helped immediately but while she was waiting, one of the workers left so there were two, which makes it harder for the workers as well.

Oh the entitledness feels like it's jumping out as well...

Alsosounds liek she's never had glasses beforeand it's her first time..

You right about saying how she should have planned better or knew it was going to be while if she knew about the place and how they run things. Being impaitent with a number system...

I wonder how she would handle the DMV. I bet she'd schedule ahead...Number system is VERY importnant there. LMFAO

Some people that come to starbucks are like that too...wanna rush us for Waters or their drinks knowing they have 5 minutes to get to their jobs and stuff. Like??? WHy come to this one when you KNOW you're running late??? Get it late Honey Bear. omfg.

Anyway, lady was being ugly and needed to chill. I hope your mom got some nice frames out of it! XD

Honestly some ppl think they are the main characters of every scenario. Just living life as if other ppl were side characters. Baffling but these ppl exist.
