[Exclusive Interview] Starfall's Sungho and Haoyu for VOGUE Korea September 2023

Vogue: Congratulation to your successful debut, we we prepared a little Q&A for you two, to get to know you guys a bit better.

Q: Your favourite time of the day?
Sungho: Definitely mornings! I need a lot of sleep, so I try to go to bed early. I like the peaceful quietness in the morning and to see how the world wakes up.
Haoyu: Early evenings. I'm more of a night owl and I'm more productive in the evening, when most people tend to relax.

Q: Your favourite favourite movie?
Sungho: Howl's Moving Castle! I have a little crush on Howl since forever, haha.
Haoyu: There is an animated film called 'The Girl Who Leapt Throuh Time' and it’s one of my comfort movies. From the cinematography to the soundtrack, it a perfect movie.

Q: What is the weirdest food combinations you enjoy?
Sungho: I like to eat cereals with orange juice. The members always cringe when they see my breakfast.
Haoyu: I'm sadly too much of a picky eater to enjoy weird food combinations, but I occasionally like dip my fries in ice cream.

Q: What are the meanings of your tattoos?
Sungho: (has a tattoo of the sun, a star and the moon behind his left ear)
Haoyu: (has a tattoo with chinese characters on his left wrist) The word on my wrist is '心有灵犀 (xīnyǒulíngxī)'. It means that you are able to communicate with your loved ones even without words.

Q: Since you shot at the beach, what is your favourite activity at the sea?
Sungho: I always loved to swim. That's why I joined the swimming club at school. And there is something special about swimm in the ocean.
Haoyu: Eat lots and lots of ice cream, haha.

Q: If you weren’t in your current possesion, what would you be?
Sungho: Since I love to watch Animes, maybe a famous Anime producer?
Haoyu: Probably a Dance Instructor. Dancing is the one thing I'm really confident in, so I like to think I would do something dance-related.

Q: What hair colour do you want to try out?
Sungho: I actually really like my dark hair and how healthy it is, haha. But maybe red?
Haoyu: My hair used to be blue, but I temporarily dyed it back to black. I think, I want to go back to blue again.

Vogue: Lastly, please leave some words to your fans!
Sungho and Haoyu: Dear Byeols, thank you all for your love and support! We appreciate every single one of you and can’t wait to meet you all again.
Please look forward to our next project and we will show you the best of us.

Vogue: Please look forward to Jihyun and Asahi's segment next!
