Also, its been known since 2020 that each of the Momoland members had to pay 60K USD for the production costs of the Finding Momoland survival, plus other production costs. Which probably explains why Yeonwoo declared in 2019, that she hadn't made any significant amount being an Idol up to that point.

MLD (Double Kick) is Just a dreadful and pathetic Agency. Don't get me goin' with them, everything been said and done. Screw 'em! But yeah, while I must admit that Daisy was not exactly a poster child member with the group (no further comment), she's right and she's telling the truth.

until the Loona contracts got revealed, I always wondered if the idols (or their parents) actually read and understand the contracts they are signing, but since then, I'm convinced most of them don't and just sign whatever the agency presents...

well, ig they either pay for that or put it towards college, its the same darn amount where I'm from :-/
9Muses also had to do that. Sera discussed it at length on her YT channel. So in all likelihood, only the top agencies have the muscle to fund a debut on their own.

oh I kinda understand that, but my point is, when Daisy later claims to get surprised by certain expenses. like the one for suing comments, she probably never read the contract and what she has to pay for..

Also regarding the finding Momoland, I get the logic to share the debut costs with members, but the survival show will not let everyone will, yet they probably all had to pay?

it was a complete mess, plain and simple. Mnet should also be blamed for this (the survival). I'm not exonerating MLD E. or anything but this was a 3-way screw up of the greatest scale. As for ongoing expenses, i'm not the least bit surprised. Lawyers had probably laid out a battery of fine prints on their contracts.
