I saw AESPA in concert last week (1 Viewer)

Woot Woot it was so nice to finally see my wife Ningning in the flesh
I'm pretty bad at updating about these things but here's my breakdown of the concert

The Venue
I got the absolute worst parking spot in the venue (boxed in against a metal railing) so that was a big L leaving was worse, I had to wait in my car in the parking lot for 50 minutes after the con because I could not back out due to cars snaking through the parking lot trying to get out and also two cars behind me that were parked (I'm really bad at parking)

Parking lot opened at 6PM, I got there at 6:30PM, doors open 7PM, it was very very cold and windy (thanks Chicago) BUT thanks to me getting there early I was pretty high up in line, probably in the first 1/3 of it! It had wrapped around the venue by the time someone who was meeting me arrived

The security guards in the venue yelled at me twice thank you for the overstimulation baldies

Meeting An Internet Stranger IRL
If you're a kid don't do this BUT- I was scrounging around on twitter the entire day of the con because I could not find pics of the merch at all and I like to know what I'm interested in getting before I'm actually at the front of the merch line with 5 minutes to decide everything and a girl reached out to me with pictures and asked me if I could buy her merch she wanted in case she got there when it sold out. Given that the venue is notorious (in my personal history) for selling out of merch, I told this girl yeah sure and we started dming and she said she would meet me once she arrived + I continued giving her updates on where I was in line, etc.

She did end up arriving before the doors opened, around 6:50PM and she was super cool to talk to! I helped her cut both the line outside AND the merch line inside because she was a bit slower bringing her ticket up on her phone and she did end up getting the merch she wanted. It's always such a nice experience interacting with KPOP fans at these concerts because they will always be some of the chillest and nicest people you can talk to.

Oh and and if you want to know something really cool about her, when she opened our dms to send me the merch she wanted there actually was an existing dm in our conversation history... turns out in 2020 she sent me a 'never have I ever' list that I had asked for

Performances
AESPA ARE PERFORMERSSSS!!! I can confidently say Karina's solo stage had me shooketh. I feel like I see her in a new light now after watching such a beautiful performances. As for the other stages, Giselle's solo stage was SO much fun and upbeat which was exactly what the crowd needed. My favorite performance was probably Girls and the most underwhelming to me was Next Level which is parallel to my experience with NCT127's Sticker performance - a let down, you know? Someone needs to tell these concert planners that they need to CRANK THE BEAT on the group's best songs because I didn't even know Next Level or Sticker were even playing until the artists opened their mouths.

Overall I felt the most stable performer was Giselle, she always seemed full of energy and there was never a moment where I thought she was having a hard time or was tired - she always gave 110%. Winter's vocal color also shined a lot and I really like the tone of her voice.

Ningning
Is so much hotter irl than in pictures, she's really really pretty. I enjoyed her solo stage a lot and loved the transitions from the girls' solo stages into the next group song. My overall favorite trait of Ningning is her beautiful voice and she showcased her talent many times during the concert's duration. I will anticipate my next meeting with her

Bathroom Situation 5/5 (better than the United Center)

My Seat 4/5 room for improvement but good price
Performance Satisfaction 5/5 I had a lot of fun
The people who sat behind me splashed water on me and didn't say a damn word about it -5/5 I was pissed off and my leg was wet
The joke's on them though I'm so tall I ruin everyone's day when I stand up 10/5 >>>> hope you had fun standing in the aisle water monsters

MY WIFE NINGNING not MY WIFE (@Nina) space NINGNING ?!?¿ don't you know that ningning is like my 3rd wife omg. Nina lives like a half a day via car away from me also most concert venues do not allow outside food or drink inside, if Nina came I definitely would've made her park!!!! I'm sure she's more skilled than me!!! The worst thing about the concert was that I didn't get a bag for my merch and I went alone so the entire duration of the concert + my 5 bathroom breaks I had to bring all the merch with me so it was very annoying!! At one point I shoved the slogan towel in between my pants and my shirt in the waistband and it kept scratching me and also Winter's solo stage was boring AF and there was one song so cringy i wanted to die LMFAOOOO but otjer than that it was golden

maybe it was a US thing since I remember going to see Eminem in 2019 stadium here and no bag limits/sizes
regardless I'm glad you had fun and it must've been very exciting seeing them live

Mid-low? LOL, ranks higher than NCT Dream, Twice, but it would be less enjoyable than BLACKPINK, NCT127, W1, MX, AB6IX, 17
Although tbf I've only had one fully BAD concert experience, so by that logic it's still in the 'OKAY-GOOD' tier ykonw?
