Between 2018 and 2020, the forum changed a ton, and all members tried their best to become the top poster of the month. But who was able to post during the year ? Lets find out :
2018 : The Beginning
2018 was marked by the creation of the forum and the first few members joining and submitting the first few posts. Because of the extremely low amount of members and activity, low amount of posts were enough to rank highly on the tpotm (top poster of the month) ranking. @yeji despite only really starting to post in October, takes a dominant victory thanks to their dominant November win. The other 4 of the top 5 were pretty much tied.
Honorable mention :
@Vikki and Administrator2, Vikki was close to making the top 5 but they didn't have any dominant month so just missed out. Administrator would have made it but i found the idea quite stupid (sorry administrator stans).
2019 : The Golden Age
Now in 2019 we start to reach very impressive numbers !! The first 2 months of the year were rather unimpressive with the site continuing to grow at a normal pace. But in the end of February and beginning of March, the great EXODUS happened and a myriad of top tier posters arrived, led by monsters like @kuro or @Darkseid. During the following 3 months, the site would see one of its highest peak of activity, with record breaking month of April and May with April seeing 8 different users reaching 2k+ posts and May seeing 6 different users. Its during that time that @kuro would see perhaps one of the most insane peak any user ever had, culminating with a 3811 posts and a record breaking (and still the record today) 6798 posts in a month.
In the middle of the year, the title was already decided, @kuro had a gargantuan lead over yachii and yeji. But as their interest vanished, Yeji and Yachii started to really gain pace and in just 3 months, they were already in striking distance of the lead kuro built previously. At that point no one was sure who was about to win but Yachii would have an absolutely dominant September and October to secure an insurmountable lead over yeji, thus securing the title of top poster of the year 2019.
Honorable mention :
Both @Darkyoda47 and @VillageIdiot had extremely strong year and came short a few hundred posts shorts after their very very low post count in the last 2 months. They would probably have made the top 5 with their average in the last stretch.
2020 : The Dark Age
After a stellar 2019 for the site which saw an astounding growth in number of members and in activity, 2020 was the year the forum came back to earth. A major reason why was that a good amount of the new monsters of posts that came during the great exodus just didn't stay for 2020 or were not really active anymore. There were also a large amount of top tier posters that simply stopped being that active and were not replaced, example in Yoda, VillageIdiot, lexus etc... yeji pretty much cruised through the year, never in danger. THe one good thing is Vikki finally getting some credit as one of the most important member of the forum and the rise of someone who would built an absolutely incredible legacy here, @Tsukino ! Also shoutout to @SUNSEEKER somehow having 3 posts during this year despite joining the forum 2 years later lol (the forum is broken).
Honorable mention :
@Myco unfortunately once again comes short tho they were quite far from the top 5. Also shout out to super donator @JakeyWantsCakey who also contributed greatly to flooding the servers with their post in the fall of 2020.
Oh and shoutout to @faith for doing literally 2 posts for the year, thanks for the participation
Dont mock them, @Day did 11 posts, @Hakunama_Tata did 2 too lmfao
