If 2018-2020 saw the creation of the forum and some up and down in activity, 2021 began a new era for the site as a lot of the most well known and beloved members of the community started to dominate during that year. After the dark 2020, the servers were back in the hospital as a ferocious war for the title of top posters began between new faces and old giants...

The beginning of the year was marked by a seemingly renewed interest in the forum by a ton of members in the community. Even though the numbers might not have been as insane as The Great Exodus numbers, there were nonetheless very impressive and users like @Tsukino @Yili and @Myco took some considerable leads.

But the main reason this year became really historic and marked a big change compared to previous years was the lack of down months.
After the great numbers in the beginning, it didn't stop in the middle of the year, with already impressive posters even accelerating like @Yachii or @Vikki.
In September, the title was clearly really close between @Tsukino, @Yachii and @Yili. But in hte last stretch, @Tsukino was able to keep putting out numbers unlike some lead that were lost in previous years and would secure 1st place. @Yili would lose 2nd place in the very last month to the legend @Yachii.
The rest of the top 10 saw insane battles with @Xeulgi @Myco and @Vikki consistently changing places month after month. The last few places were even more fought as @RandAlThor and @Abeamus were about to scrap by the top 10 by a few hundreds.

Honorable mention :

@yeji the absolute legend, the goat of the early era of KPS, was still able to compete during this year but eventually got passed at the very end. Still very consistent year, averaging nearly 900 posts a month, and having hardly any break.
Also shoutout to @gud_bam who was able to came a few hundred close to the top 10 despite only starting to post in July, what a legend...

Also wp to @eclipsoul managing to reach 10k posts in a year (would have been 3rd in 2020 lol).

For comparison 5th place @dubudae in 2020 would have arrived 17th in this year ranking lol.

YES, the most wtf thing is that some totals exceed the number of message shown below their PFP, my theory is that the tpotm page also counts deleted threads when the message counts below the pfp doesn't...

I also didn't count for every users, only those who had a chance to make the list, but i had to cut to the top 5 in 2020 because the numbers were so low I cutted some people who had probably enough posts to get top 10 like @NeoSquare etc...

In 2021 I am pretty confident i have the right top 20 but i prefer top 10 cz i'm 100% sure for them

you will see but yeah @Tsukino 's record will be hard but imo doable if you string some very good months (for example you need to start posting more this month). But yeah I take inspiration of how we call historic ages

It’s not impossible that posts/threads got deleted, archived, transferred, ect not immmediately. And for staff I don’t know if it counts posts in the staff section for profiles/too posters of the month. I’m not sure how big discrepancies are but that may count for some.

the discrepency is really low, i believe i don't have any but i'd say its about 5 post more every 2k posts, so for someone like you I'd expect about a hundred (not significant so)
