If 2018-2020 saw the creation of the forum and some up and down in activity, 2021 was an age of renewal, with the rise of so many important users of the forum. Will these users be able to keep up in 2022 or will new blood be able to leave their mark on history ?

2022 was marked by probably the most fierce battle for the top 10 the forum had ever seen. In the middle of the year, not a single user was able to get a comfortable lead, @badcrookshanks, @ryba, @Xeulgi , @Yili , @litc, @Yachii and @Tsukino were all very close and it could go either way. In the end, the absolute insane consistency of @badcrookshanks (893 was their lowest post count in a month, a mark only beaten by Xeulgi, and the only month below 1000 posts, tied lowest ever with Tsukino's legendary 2021), My friend @ryba came agonizingly close to the title, probably due to their very low post count in July.

The overall consistency of the top 10 was impressive, with seemingly no down months unlike previous years. @Vikki continues to build their legend as the only user ever to reach top 10 in 4 different years (2018, 2020, 2021, 2022). Tsukino, after stellar performance in 2020 and 2021, was still able to compete with the new blood. @tai was able to narrowly make the top 10 with a postless January.

It's also extemely impressive to see some people who were active during The Great Exodus being able to still kinda compete like @Abeamus and @RandAlThor though it is still sad to see the decrease in activity from important users like @yeji and @VillageIdiot

Honorable Mention :

@Chaeee had an extremely impressive year spending most of the beginning of the year inside the top 5/10 but their activity took a nosedive in the second half. Please comeback.

@OnlyCalB our ffellow card collector was also able to string some incredible months while being very consistent. They would also pass 10k posts, thought it would be fun to see how many of those posts are card related...

@Day had perhaps the best peak of anybody this year, being able to reach 10k in 5 months of activity at the end of the year lol


Perhaps the last month of the year was marked by the debut of a new generation, that would break a lot of records very soon... (but thats a story for another day )

So a cat was on top last year! Very nice

Yachii and Tsukino got cat in half compared to previous years

it is still sad to see the decrease in activity from important users like @yeji and @VillageIdiot

When I joined, at least @VillageIdiot was still very active for a short time, but I never lived in a world with @yeji active, I hope to one day experience it too
