Like you’re worried about not liking it? Or it seems like too much effort to make? Or you would rather get it from a professional cook, but haven’t had the opportunity? For me that food is borscht. I really want to try it but I’m scared of fucking it up and the recipe looks intimidating so I haven’t tried it.​

I’d like to think myself adventurous (unironically love haggis, love oysters and all those raw seafood, veal brain, livers, even had a fish eyeball phase when I was younger) but as much curiosity I do hold towards raw seal I don’t think I could handle the taste or texture from what I’ve heard of it

nope, it’s hard to get the license and the only place I’ve seen them offered are at powwows where some inuit would bring down their seals to serve
