Yup. Chuu & Choerry surprised me. Actually, everyone did. Their capabilities are insane.

I really loved this performance though. The song has a special place in my heart & we can see how Choerry's technique has improved.

I've always been impressed by Chuu and Haseul but I haven't heard enough live vocals from Lippington, Jinsoul, Yves, Olivia and Choerry until now, they did really well. Olivia has a great lower register that I hope they utilize and Choerry has a lot of that groovy r&b-ish flavor that I hadn't noticed before. I think Olivia, Choerry and Heejin need a little bit of work but they could become main vocal quality at some point. Yves, Jinsoul and Kim Lip are already well on their way. There were some really delicious harmonies this weekend too.

Olivia's voice isn't naturally deeper actually. She just has this habit of speaking really low & monotonous, thus the ease in the lower register.
She has some intonation issues that need to be fixed. Her tone is pure honey though.
Choerry's voice is smooth & stylish when she manipulates it properly.
They all did good & I feel like they are improving really fast.
LOONA have a great ensemble that if used properly, can produce wonderful harmonies.

Exactly. After debuting, idols don't get the chance to improve vocally, mostly because they already debuted & don't need to.
However, events like this act as a drive for the girls to improve.

I feel like lots of companies don't even want idols to improve, they're like you're the face of the group, no need to improve.

I hope this will help them gain more Korean fans too.
They have more i-fans than k-fans. Hopefully 2019 is Loona's year.

They've improved so much, esp. Choerry,. Girl was eating those adlibs. Chuu and Lippie were out there making auntie Mariah proud with those runs.
