as someone who loves movie theaters and goes there as much as i can it sounds awful luckily in my country the barbie/oppenheimer thing worked well to bring people to movie theaters and even without i see people going even if most of the times the trashy movies from my country are the ones getting the biggest audiences

but alas since the larger companies always outlive the smaller ones in kpop and cinemas (and literally everything else lol)

tbf we don't invest much to survive so we actually do not need a lot of demand to stay in place unlike them. I think it will be close but we definitely have a a chance to outlive them
