whether from a show, video game, book, etc, thats nearly completely unknown but has a character that you absolutely adore in it
got anybody like that?

the ps2 game mad maestro was pretty popular at the time it came out but in japan only,
outside of that its literally nearly unknown and so hard to search and find anything abt it,
so yeah, very obscure.
but it is home to a character i love dearly, a lil flute player named adonis
and bc you literally cant search him on google to find a pic, here's a picmix edit i made x

my beautiful flute playing son who is one w/ nature amen

[Ahsoka]

I need to ponder, I have suddenly forgotten every book and movie I watched or read

[mysteric]

my entire theming is based around a character who the official account has all but forgotten about even though she’s regularly hyped as the strongest female glory pro and all
but yea, i do generally latch onto the most random of side characters
everyone loves consort jing in nif but she’s hardly anyone’s fav (she’s mine and one of my top fav fictional characters tbh her depth is amazing)
from the history side, shangguan wan’er my beloved </333 can’t believe her legacy might live in chifi though

maddy perez

Buffy summers and Harley Quinn

She's probably not that unknown anymore, but I absolutely adore Senua.

Since 'The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim' there were quite a few video games that had a Norse mythology concept. What makes 'Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice' so special is the female protagonist. The reason why she's not just another type of sword-wielding warrior lies in her mind: she suffers from psychosis. Often you'll not know if the things that she sees and the voices she hears are real or just part of her imagination. The combination of Norse mythology topics, her character and her mental illness makes Senua and the game absolutely unique. She has has such a presence that I stopped playing the first time and spent the rest of the night with reading internet articles about psychosis.

Maybe because of my own mental problems in the past (although it wasn't psychosis) the game went much deeper than I expected - and it went deeper than any other video game I've played before.

I don't know how obscure he is, but when I played Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution, I enjoyed playing as Lion.

and I remember having a crush on Hakim from the Emma: A Victorian Romance manga.
