KTL isnt that strong on SK charts like D4 was. What do you all think why, could it have to do with YG / Seungri situation happened and KTL was more directed to international audience ?

The thing with YG / Seungri is a smaller part than most people think I would say. Most of BP fans in SK are just BP stans, not YG stans. That mostly just leads to a bunch of people putting negative ratings on the song and BP articles. Which they already had all of that due to haters from other fandoms. Now they just have a reason to comment even more terrible things under BP articles.. but kblinks usually do a decent job of shoving them down.

The release time being 12AM KST is what really messed up it's chance to be a DDDD level song. It being released at that time means nobody even saw it in the charts for the first 13 hours. It's also a banger song released in spring going up against BOL4 who is the biggest digimon after IU. They released a song which has spring in the title it's obviously made for spring.

To expect to have the same success that DDDD had though is a pretty huge ask. DDDD is one of the most digitally successful and record setting songs of this decade so.. Like so much so, some of the records it set could stand for years. The only way I see them being beat is by IU.

Lol no, BOL4 is far from nugu. They are the biggest duo in Korea. Usually only their own releases do good on the charts though. They're also an indie group and the song you linked doesn't really sound like a song that would be from them 😜

It would be nice when IU would do a feature with Rose. She said once that she really likes Rose's voice and wants to work with her. I know it's supposed to be a solo comeback but I think it would help Rose's popularity in SK a lot.
