When did you got into Kpop & how old were you? (1 Viewer)

I got into K-pop back in 2006. I was in 7th grade, so probably like 12 or 13 yr old. Bi Rain, Se7en & BoA were the first Korean artists that I discovered, but DBSK was the one that really got me into Kpop and they became my first bias group and Jaejoong was my ultimate bias. I discovered Super Junior, SS501 & Big Bang after and became their fan. Though I wasn't as big of a Kpop fan when I was younger compare to now.

2014 for me. I was actually around 7th grade too 😅
The first kpop song I remember hearing was 2pm's hands up and I really liked it, but didn't go much further than that. Then after a few more months, I stumbled on SHINee and kind of fell in love. Taemin was my ult at the time. I was still a pretty casual fan then though, so after a bit, I fell out interest again. My interest in kpop was pretty on and off until around 1 and a half years ago when I joined a forum, made friends, and my interest stabilized.

In 2016 I was 16. I discovered Mamamoo from someone and shortly after Sistar and I really liked both of those groups.

I was into k pop my whole existence but I started actually liking it in when SHINee came out with Replay. Shinee was my first kpop band. I went to meet and greets and also a bunch of concerts

2016, I was 15 years old and got into it when I was introduced to snsd by a classmate

The year was 2014, back in my weeb days I was 14 and came across an edit of Attack On Titan, the female characters were dancing to a foreign song and I really liked it so I searched it up and it turns out it was Kara (the song was Pandora) That's how I kinda discovered kpop (gangnam style does not count >.>) but I still didn't fully dive in into the kpop world until the Fine brothers made a "Youtubers react to kpop" video, I fell in love with exo and that's when I decided to finally give it a chance, 5 years later, here I am. the end.

I first ard 2009 (when I was in my late thirties) learned of SNSD gee (watched on YouTube, but dint stick except I remembered them l8r.)

It took me long time , abt 9 yrs (tho I kept reading news abt them-TTS, Jess leaving n TSS out of SM-which I clearly remember- n watched them on yt again) before I started stanning them in mid-2018 n now here I am.

Late 2011, I was 15. I was listening to J-pop and one of my friend gave me a list with J-pop and Kpop singers to listen. I tried Shinee, fell on Lucifer and then liked it. EXO debuted not so long ago and I was officially a Kpop fan.
