Is it bad if you dont feel sad when a family member or when someone you know dies? I mean i felt the tiniest of sympathy when moonbin died so idk is there something wrong with me



Nobody died but the thought keeps popping in my head

I know but both my aunt and uncle died and i didnt feel sad i mean i even had a chance to say goodbye to my aunt and i felt so uncomfortable with that so i said no and she died like 5 minutes later i just worry that im too emotionless or i dont care

Its weird actually you see i feel like crying when someone on tv dies or when a kpop idol dies but i dont feel sad when a person i know/a family member dies.

Well, I didn't experience much grief when my gramma, whom I didn't really get along with anyway, died, but that was bc she'd suddenly bled to death from a varicose vein rupture. My aunt, however, was different. We were godmother and goddaughter, and my family and I knew beforehand about her diagnosis of thyroid cancer and that it was terminal, so the day she died, I was an emotional wreck. So I think it depends on the circumstances and how close you were.

I don't think I ever cried for someone who died in my family, just a feeling of nothingness or smth like that, very bizarre

If you’re not very close with any of your family members, then I don’t see why that should be a bad thing at all to not feel sad about it.
Honestly, I feel you with that though - like my grandfather died 2 years ago but I didn’t feel sad about it since I wasn’t very close with him.
Well not that I’m actually close with a lot of my family members anyway, but yeah you get the point.
