When you try to answer a question in class but you’re so wrong ​

one of my worst fears which is why i either say the answer to myself quietly or only raise my hand when i know i'm 100% without a doubt correct

I once raised my hand in my pre-calc class and the professor actually asked )"Are you sure you want to answer this Mr. **********.) because I have a track record of always getting them wrong. And yes, I got it wrong. Apparently the order of operations is important?

That’s why I never tried to give an answer in school, unless it was in English class because that was the only subject I was confident in.

My answer made sense in my head. She asked how many variables are in a factorial design that is a 3 by 4. I said 12.

I mean 12 makes perfect sense to me too tbh.
