Hi everyone!

It's actually been 8 whole months since I've been on these forums which is a really long time. I never expected it to be that long tbh and a few years ago, I felt like I would never take an extended break.

But it was well needed as I've been doing personal stuff and got so busy finishing up my junior year of high school and simultaneously studying for ACTs that I just didn't really have any extra time to spend here. I took a look at how much activity I've spent in the past year when I should've been doing homework or studying and it was just too much.

Luckily, as senior year is manageable, I got accepted into my target college, I got a pretty good and personally satisfactory score on my ACT after taking it a total of 5 times, and am really just applying for scholarships, I felt like it would be a good time.

But why not do it on my birthday?
I am officially 18 years old as of October 18, 2023, and am now a legal adult in the US!
Now, obviously, I don't feel any different and won't be turning 18 technically until 6:30 pm CST tonight but I'm still technically 18, right? Those that are older than me can't call me a baby anymore 😛

I don't know who's still on here or what has happened in the past more-than-half-a-year so catch me up and I'll be happy to do the same!

Sorry I had to cut it short because I was going to eat dinner and receive gifts (which I got $150 from just my parents and grandparents!)
But yes! I'm officially 18 as of yesterday, I got accepted to my target university and I'm just preparing to finish up my senior year and get the hell out of there. 😁

That just summarized all of the good stuff that has happened. But obviously, I had to work hard to get there which is why I was gone for so long.

But also I've recently become *slightly* obsessed with Tom Hiddleston and Loki so that made me more of a MCU fan, still watch The Simpsons a lot and have been playing a lot more Minecraft and Sims than before 😂

Yes! Have you watched the first one? Season 2 is soo good so far and ep 3 is releasing tonight! So psyched.
I just love Tom Hiddleston's acting skills and he's overall a respectable person. One of the biggest things for me is how he has a child with his fiancee, Zawe Ashton but they are keeping everything about him/her on the down-low. Heck, we don't even know its gender! And also Loki's character development is just *chef's kiss*. I don't care what anyone else says. And I think everyone can agree that he was the perfect person for the role. One thing the people in the MCU will never not be good at is casting the right people for the right roles. Tom auditioned for Thor but that would've been so different. Chris Hemsworth is the perfect Thor

Same!! Though my dad took us to see literally almost all of the superhero movies as they were released in theaters, I loved it. We don't do it as much anymore because a lot of them haven't really been good lately but the shows (for the most part) are pretty good. I just wish they weren't so short. Disney promised that they were going to make their Marvel and Star Wars shows longer with shorter episodes and longer seasons which would be so much better. I'm still not sure how they're going to fit all of Season 2 of Loki in 6 episodes. SIX!!
