My city's culture is also getting a little diluted, what with the population boom too. My city was known to be posterchild suburbia, but now it's just becoming a college/corpo living quarters

No like it was truly boring, not just looks either.

there's the restaurants and then there... not much else.

Even the local parks and shopping center have been hit with the "the charter company of this city wants it to look a certain way so it's just uniformly and consistently boring" (the city is chartered so most of the land is actually owned by the company founded by the family that used to own all the land here lmfao

Pros: Like in most small villages in Southern Germany it's a very quiet and safe neighbourhood with many old people. A few drunk, but harmless teens on the way home at the weekends is the most anti social 'problem' we have here. There's a lot of nature with a very large forest area.

Cons: I'm rather isolated regarding my 'younger' interests like modern music and games. But that might be the price I have to pay for all the peace.

Overall I'm happy to live here.
