I've been listening to....other genres in the last few months
Honestly, I have been too...but I still listen to KPOP!!
I have done a complete no-KPOP cleansing once on accident (very busy and then coming back tired) on my week-long trip to Disney World. It was definitely different and weird but also oddly refreshing. I know I'm never going to escape it completely but I should do that again some time. But it was like no music, no forums, no content, no nothing (related to the industry)
Also, as I'm typing this, there are sirens at 12:37 in the morning...what the heck happened???

Yeah, I went on a trip with a friend and there's a lot of driving... he doesn't listen to kpop so I had to make a playlist for the road on something else....and that started my journey exploring another genre...

Kind of the same thing happened to me. Except I don't have friends irl /hj so I saw the trailer for Ant Man and the Wasp Quantumania and the song caught my ears so I kept listening to that and now I can't stop! And I now listen to epic versions of old songs so...🙃

Because the only scientific answers I have received are that you and your brain are separate entities and your brain just stores information and controls your involuntary actions. Then what is the "you" in this?
