Because the threads are never truly deleted. They're just moved into a pile of threads hidden by other users.

And just to clarify, I wasn't really a mod. I was an Events Team member and had mod abilities because it made my job a lot easier 😅

And I like what MK said...a thread would get deleted only if there was a really good reason. So I think that if everyone had that ability, there would be nothing left 😂

Haha I'm not sure about that. I haven't had mod powers a long time so I'm not sure what happened to those.

And now that I think about it, I think there was a way to permanently delete threads but that would mostly be used for spam threads 😂

I couldn't tell you...I haven't been on there yet from my hiatus.
I remember when it was so busy and not so much drama that wasn't even related to KPOP...the good ol' days...😭

only mods and admins have permissions to delete posts and threads. if it's something you dont want us to see, you can edit your post with a placeholder before reporting the post to us. i wont look i promise

I can't delete threads or posts, it only lets me edit them, is there any way to do so?

Only Moderators can move or delete threads and posts.

What you can do is use the 'Report' button located on the bottom left of your post.
Then, in the following 'Report content' box, make a selection among the choices or go down to the bottom 'Other' box to leave a brief message for a Moderator to read.
Finally, at their discretion, they will either fulfill or reject your requests.
