It's a lot but for my main points: The ends may not justify the means, for example, killing an innocent person to save many people's lives is not a morally justifiable action. In my opinion, it's also unrealistic to measure happiness. It assumes that we can measure and compare the happiness of different people, but in reality, this may not be accurate. The other thing too is that it puts too much emphasis on maximizing the overall happiness of the majority. This could result in the minority or marginalized groups being neglected or, in some cases, exploited. I just feel like it's something I don't see myself ever believing.

me? I tend to lean more towards utilitarianism

there is no government today that does not use some form of utilitarianism in their policies - why? there is just insufficient resources to go around and thus decisions have to be made to determine the allocation of such resources and for the most part the emphasis is on maintaining the happiness of the majority...(and yes sometimes to the detriment of the minority)

and it's not always killing that is the "means" - obviously killing is just one example but normally I'd use a more simple example of the means justifying the ends - that is breaking a law to save a person's life...ie. running a red light is illegal and dangerous but if it's necessary to the save the life of a person to rush them to hospital - that would be justified no? and even the law states that it would be...
another one that doesn't involve lives could be something as simple as tresspass onto a neighbour's property - if I'm playing a ball game or something and my ball goes onto my neighbour's land and I go fetch the ball technically I've gone onto my neighbour's property without permission which is trespass and a crime but most people would say it's harmless and the means justify the ends

It was quite interesting... I wanted to be the leader even though I act more like a follower. Of course, if a company is looking for a squeaking duck as their main vocalist, my DMs are open!

And being a leader of a KPOP group would be so cool but I also couldn't do it XD

For some reason, I've wanted to be the maknae so I can get babied by the members XD
And I did think about auditioning at some point but I would never actually do it because of a multitude of reasons.
