Also I don't know if it's MNET mediaplaying him but they were comparing him to Daniel and just NO. They don't look-a-like and their personalities can't be even compared.

I feel like Koreans aren't really aware of his personality, he used n word twice while rapping and instead of apologizing, he blocked fans who told him why it's wrong. I feel like there's a lot of ignorance when it comes to this and a lot of Koreans (even though he's not 100% Korean but he lives in Korean culture space) either feign ignorance or just turn a blind eye to it. And I know PD101 in general is directed towards Korean viewers but you can't have such member in a final line-up and expect foreigners not to react if you want the group be known outside Asia and also tour outside of it. That's why I think it's important to get rid of all the rotten apples if there's plenty of evidence to back it up. :/

yeah hopefully he won't make it into the final line-up. I agree there is a lot of ignorance to these issues in Korea and elsewhere. I've been wondering if they are going to let international viewers vote this time again? If they want to go more international they should it only makes sense. Also, it'd keep people out like him that international fans would not react well to

From what I know, no. It hasn't been specified but I have a feeling we can't. I once saw some photo that had some benefit packages that you pay for to use and it's related to voting.. it seems they're trying to cash in more this time around than just using standard SMS voting.

Actually, I know my opinion is unpopular, but it's better if we can't vote. There are too many trainees who already have got a spotlight and if international fans would vote, it'd give others no chance to shine at all. (+ imagine all the Chinese people voting, there's too many of them, it'd be too easy to manipulate the votes, the only reason we could for S1 was because it was basically a test run). It loses the purpose of the show, if people have already decided on their favourites, simply because they're known before the first episode has aired or because they're JYP/YG/Woollim etc trainees. I'd love to see more dark horses like last season. :(

I agree with you on some points. But I also realised that Koreans, in general, are very inconsistent when it comes to voting, they change their mind a lot. I noticed that with Daniel as well, he was initially more popular with international fans, than with Koreans, it took few episodes for them to pick him as their favourite. His last place in Sorry Sorry team shows it. And then in some cases they can be quite consistent, such as with Jihoon or Seongwu, both of them never fell out of top 10 throughout the show. I also think a lot of Koreans pick favourite after watching first episode and not before, the only ones they initially go for are all the visuals.

Another thing was that in S2 Samuel ranked quite high and it turned out that it was all due to Chinese somehow cheating their way through and they were able to vote and once their votes were removed, he fell a lot and never recovered enough to get back into top 11 so it must have been a lot of votes. So people who say Samuel deserves better don't realise that Koreans weren't actually that keen on him. He's a talented boy but it's not always enough. I suppose this season will follow a similar pattern and with 10 members, it's 1 less talented person. :(

And that's what happened with Wanna One, honestly, they were massive in Asia but their concerts in NA didn't do well. And I saw a lot of people say: If they had let us vote, I would have stanned. But it never guarantees that your favourite will make it, I think a lot of it is down to luck as well. We'll just have to see how it'll be this season.

For me PERSONALLY Bobby is was way more handsome than this guy. I don't really get how he he is a top tier visual lol, as Queen said he looks kinda plain to me. But that might also be because of his rotten personality. I really don't like the guy and I hope he doesn't make the line up. There are so many more handsome, talented and kind (I assume they are becuz you never know a person's true personality) trainees. I guess they made it 10 this time to avoid "comparisons with Wanna One? I hoped they would do 12 this time but well Mnet being Mnet

There are some new trainees I like: Maroo ent Woojin? (Cute maknae I wanna pinch his cheeks), Gunmo (cute) , Seobin (omg he reminds me of chicken Seonho I cry), Wooseok (up10tion, seems like a nice guy and good visuals). Thats it for now .

This is my department lol

Wooseok is a cuddle bug. At one point I nicknamed him a koala because he would hug or hang onto members constantly.

He's funny though because he's one of those that'll act mean and cold but will also just want a hug.
Also, has a soft spot for people younger than him. He has always babying the youngest member of the group. Also, he was paired with Jinwoo (I believe that's his name) and kept hugging him the entire time lol.

This has been my fan girl of my up20tion bias


But yeah I agree with you on his personality making him less impressive. Its one thing to have cocky confidence another to be a jerk

After I found out what he has done, I became disgusted with him. There's nothing more unattractive than a person with a terrible personality and it'll show up everywhere, including in his looks that I no longer care about. I don't think he will, he doesn't seem to rank that high in all these lists made before the first episode but if his bad personality isn't revealed to Koreans, then he can get quite far. I hope he gets eliminated in the first elimination though, lmao. in S2 there was a guy who was cancelled right away before the show even started and he had to leave, I don't even know if there was truth to what he did (he has since then debuted again) but in Yuri's case there's plenty evidence of what he has said/done from his IG.

I think Wooseok has a good chance of debuting if his antis won't pull up his stupid controversy with Somi. I personally root for Baekjin, Gukheon and Park Sunho, I only today watched the zero episode and I was really happy for the praise the first two got, especially Hongki saying that Gukheon is his favourite vocalist on PD X 101. Let's see if tomorrow someone else captures my attention as well. I need to be careful though, there are so many young ones, who look a lot older.
