we use brave but my uncle got a warning that youtube wont let us use it if we have an ad-blocker it keeps giving so many annoying ads and then complains if we find an alternative

yeap which is why there is a massive "outcry" (I think that's the word) against YT's anti ad blocker thingy

Add uBlock Origin > open the dashboard > go to filter lists > look for uBlock filters – Quick fixes > click on clock icon > click Update Now. Every time YouTube gives you the black screen, do this. If the filter list isn't updated yet, wait, try again later. Also, click the lockpad icon next to the address bar and disable tracking prevention, as it might interfere with uBlock. This will only apply to YouTube.
