"Why are u so mean??? U honestly get on my nerves sometimes /lh"
This is a great question. I commend your courage for asking it. I'll try and make this somewhat short but make sense at the same time.
I don't intend to me mean. Honestly! I've done a lot of soul searching lately because I realize I've negatively affected others. My fun should never ruin the fun of others! We're all her to enjoy KPS and I hate the though of ruining that for anyone else. So the most honest response. My family has survived a lot and we did this by finding things to laugh about, at and /or just ignore the things that hurt our selves and others. This might sound insane... but I'm the most empathic person in my family (not empathic as in I can feel your emotions but empathic as in I can understand your emotion or why you feel a certain way). Sometimes I'm shocked when I do something and I see how much it negatively affected someone else. Something that I would find as a tiny annoyance at worst, really upsets someone else. Understanding that isn't easy nor does it happen over night!
Lastly, No one around me (physically) is very accepting of who I am. I'm tolerated at best, everywhere but KPS. KPS is the only place I feel any sort of acceptance. Liking K-pop makes me strange. Liking kpop girl groups makes me bad. Accepting and caring for my feminine side some how makes me sinful, an abomination, etc. A side affect of that is the realization of how unlikly it is the people around me are going to accept and/or be happy with who I am. So I decided to be me regardless of what others think and to deal with the consequences as they come. When someone decides they dislike me I put a lot of effort in trying to figure out why. Sometimes I really am the problem(the conclusion to my most recent incident). I try to be a better person. Here's the hardest part of this. When your my age and only lived around a single kind of people your entire, and been pressured in to acting and thinking a single way your entire life, it's really really hard to change! This isn't an excause! No one, especially me, is to old to change. It just takes more effort to undo 40+ years of bad habits/thinking. I hope this helps and I hope this makes sense.
If I'm being mean send me a message. Tell me how, when and where! This helps me immensely in figuring out what I can do differently / understand the situation! I hate to say it, but it might not be obvious to me until it's to late.
Lastly... what does "/lh" mean?!
